Instructions
A note before starting.
Please understand - the below diagrams are genuinely and carefully designed to help you navigate the build process. However, we don’t include specific recommendations for which tools, hardware, and products to use, and so on. These truly are “DIY” designs.
We do, however, have a few generic recommendations for working with PVC.
- Please, make sure that any tools you use are designed for PVC. If you find yourself needing to cut or drill, please use PVC-appropriate bits and saws.
- Gluing is a popular, fast, and effective method for attaching PVC pipe and tubing. Please ensure that any epoxy, cement, or glue you use is appropriate for both the materials and for your intended uses. And as always, please be safe!

Step-by-Step Guide: Build Your Own Soccer Goal

Step 1 Building the Side Frames of the Soccer Goal
First up: the side frames.
NOTE: we recommend building your side frames (x2) “loosely” and waiting until Step 3 to finish cementing and/or gluing them together. This will help resolve any misalignment problems when attaching them to the center part of your goal.If you decide not to glue it, this could also be a portable soccer goal, since you could assemble or disassemble it in a single go.
On that note: use the diagram above to gather all the parts for this step. You’ll need two of each, as you’re actually in need of two full side frames.
Once you have all your parts, go ahead and assemble them as pictured (x2).
Then, feel free to set these aside until after the next finishing with Step 2.

Step 2 Let's Build the Back Frame for the Soccer Goal
Now, it’s time to build the center of your goal.
We recommend building the top and bottom of your goal first (including the tee joints on either side) and then connecting the top and bottom with your two 34.2” tubes.
Also, you can feel free to cement/affix all these pieces together at this point if needed.

Step 3 Let’s Put together the Soccer Goal
Almost done!
Go ahead and attach your completed side frames to the center of the goal, as pictured.
Once they’re attached, feel free to affix/cement the side frames if needed. This should be easier now that all the pieces are in their appropriate positions.
And that’s it! It’s almost time to put it to use. Just remember to let everything dry/cure before throwing it out on the field (or in the rain).
Enjoy!
