Fortress Evolution Steel Joist-End Pocket

How it connects

The 2x6 steel joist end inserts into the rim joist channel pocket between the pre-cut vertical tabs, and is secured through the punched alignment holes using Fortress Evolution self-drilling metal framing screws.

Male and female halves

Female receiver pocket located along the inner face of the U-rim joist; receives the male cut end of a nominal 2x6 steel joist.
