Confused withHow to tell them apart
Strut channel slot (Unistrut)Strut channel typically has continuous slotted or perforated back and inward-turned lips for spring nuts, whereas box rail has rounded bottom runner lips specifically contoured for trolley wheels and smooth rolling. Strut channel features inward-turned gripping lips with serrations intended for spring nuts, whereas box rail tracks have rounded or smooth rolled flanges designed as bearing raceways for wheels.
Round rail / tubular trackRound rail uses a cylindrical tube with a bottom slit, whereas box rail is rectangular/square in cross-section.
80/20 T-slotT-slots are solid extruded aluminum profiles designed for structural clamping nuts rather than hollow enclosed tracks for rolling wheeled trolleys.
